CONTRACT AND SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT
WNCT has a service level agreement to provide client journey planning on behalf of our Norfolk County Council partners in West Norfolk.
The first aspect of this contract calls for us to find cost effective, safe and reliable transport for Social Services clients across all client disciplines. This work is done using a county wide computerised client referral system which provides transport data and financial information as well as enabling us to integrate services across sectors.
To arrange these journeys we can call on up to 50 volunteer drivers, various approved taxi companies and of course mini-buses.
The second aspect of the service agreement concerns the day to day management of the local County Council SSD fleet buses operated by Norse.
WNCT provides a range of transport contract activities for local authorities and the voluntary sector.
Vehicles are provided to transport clients with educational needs into schools and day services, and children of all ages into mainstream schools. Many groups and clubs providing services such as day centres and luncheon clubs for the elderly and disabled commission our buses.
A large part of WNCT income is derived from group hire, contracts won from local authorities and miscellaneous income. Surpluses generated are re-invested in vehicle stocks and to support our rural and urban flagship services.
